The Italian press reports she worked as a kind of gatekeeper for the Pontiff, as well as for the bishops and cardinals who stay there.

Man who killed his lover while using a cucumber as a sex toy during sex goes on trial

A German sales man, 46 year old Oliver Dietmann, who was having kinky sex with his lover, 46 year old Rica Varna is facing a 5 year prison sentence for her death.

Dietmann said he had met Rica in 2004 as just friends but that their relationship had become sexual in 2009. According to Daily Mail, Dietmann said during their sexual relationship, they had always used vegetables in place of sex toys, vegetables like cucumbers, carrots etc for sexual pleasures.

He added that he had invited Rica to his house on July 19th 2014 and admitted that they had drunk four bottles of wine between them and several glasses of schnapps.

The court in Mannheim where Dietmann is on trial had Rica's family, her Dad and sister, in court, listening to the explicit details of the day their sister/daughter died.
He said on that day, after he had pleasured Rica with a cucumber, he put it it in her mouth. But then he saw smoke coming from his kitchen and ran to the kitchen, forgetting the cucumber in Rica's mouth.

He said:
"I forgot that I had put a piece of meat on the stove for my dog. 'I ran to the kitchen, fed my dog and then went on to the balcony to smoke a cigarette.'
He said by the time he returned to the bedroom, Rica was unconscious.
He added:

'I tried to get the cucumber pieces out of her mouth,' he said, 'but they were so mushy I couldn't get any purchase at all.'
Medical experts during the trial said that the cucumber had gotten wedged in her throat, when he had left her unattended and that had cut off her air supply and plunged her into a coma.

A verdict in the case is due on Friday.

9 Signs You’re in very Bad Relationship (MUST READ)

9 signs you’re in very bad relationship

Being in a relationship means being with someone who loves you and cares for you. You might not need materialistic expression of that in form of gifts and dinners but the support always keeps a person going. However, if you are in a bad relationship, there is no benefit in that. Here are 9 signs of a relationship that is bringing you down:

9. No space.

He is suffocating you by constantly standing on your head. You cannot go out with your friends, you cannot be without him and you’ve to report to him for whatever you do. If you don’t have space, you will get sick of him sooner or later. So you might rethink what do you want to do in future.

8. You have lost your identity.

You have been fulfilling his demands for so long that you have forgotten that you are a person too. You cannot even change an apartment without his consent because it might be far away from his place. You can’t follow your dreams and ambitions because it is getting in the way of his dreams and goals.

7. You’re always tired.

Whether it is the love or the general chores, you are constantly being exhausted. There has come a point when you feel that you are no longer a person but a giving machine. You don’t deserve that. Cut yourself some slack and either share the responsibilities or leave him.

6. You doubt you’re both compatible.

You feel like you both are not even compatible. Your ideas don’t match or you both can’t seem to agree on most of the things. The constant fights and arguments are not what makes a relationship special. If you both are not compatible then there is no point of a relationship at all.

5. You are constantly asking yourself if you want this.

Do you want to stay committed now? Or you in for a long-term relationship? Do you realise that you will eventually get married and have children? If these questions are scaring you off then don’t waste the other person’s time. Don’t just flirt and pass time. Let them go.

4. You both have different priorities.

If you both have different priorities then it is possible that your relationship will not work out. You might have started realizing this by now. Understand that no matter how much you love each other, a lot of compromises will eventually break you both apart.

3. It doesn’t feel like love.

There are two things that can bring someone into a relationship. It can either be lust or love. Understand that. If the other person is in just to satisfy his needs then he can go and find a hooker. You don’t have to compromise on that.

2. The spark is gone.

It feels like you guys are an old married couple instead of young people in love. Things have become in such a way that you guys don’t even feel like a young couple among your friends. A young person in love is fresh, happy and over the moon. There’s this constant spark in your eyes. If your life is as dull as it always was, reassess!

1. You enjoy more with other people.

He is just boring. Nothing he does is fun. If his idea of fun is the Super Sunday Barclays Premier League game and you have zero interest in football, then don’t just with him and watch the game. If he cannot do the things you like with him and imposes his ideas on you, it’s time to part way.
Remember, there is no point in suffering out of the fear of unknown! Stay happy and spread happiness.

WAEC to Commence CBT Examination Mode Soon

WAEC to Commence CBT
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is considering migrating to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode of examinations for it examinations, the Registrar disclosed in Lagos.

The Registrar of council, Dr Iyi Uwadiae, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

According to him, the council is considering all variables available to ensure that the entire process is not messed up.

He, however, noted that the council was not in a hurry to migrate because the council basically conducts achievement tests and not selection tests.
“We have looked at the issue of CBT and found that this is not a selection test, where one can deal with paper and pencil.

“With that, you can easily migrate to CBT, but for an achievement test where you train people to become engineers, medical doctors and others, there will be need for practical experience.

“So, they do not just train them practically in the class, they equally need to be tested on theory.
“Again this background, therefore, we are collaborating with other examination bodies and experts outside Nigeria to ensure that when we start, we will not mess up the entire process.
“And what is expected of the candidates can still be achieved,’’ he said.
Uwadiae noted that the council was being cautious in getting it done because there were many things involved.

“We are not in a hurry to move in there but with time, we are going to migrate into it and start with the objective tests.
“We have to still do the practical aspect because we want to be sure that all schools are on the same level.

“They must be on the same level in terms of learning and all other aspects so that we can be able to have confidence on the reliability of the continuous assessment and practicals, which their teachers will give us.
“For now, we cannot say what we get from these teachers are reliable as we insist on continuous assessment.
“We need to go to these schools and match them against any standard tests,’’ the registrar said.

On the persistent poor performance of candidates, Uwadiae said the issue was not peculiar to Nigeria alone.
He noted that effective teaching and learning were no longer taking place in schools, coupled with the issue of dearth of infrastructure.
According to him, students seldom stay in the classrooms; they spend more time on the internet and do not read and all that.
He explained that such students were not expected to perform miracles during examinations.

“We compare our standards with that of other examination bodies in Nigeria and internationally and so we cannot lower our standards.
“Our examinations are taken by candidates of five different countries and it is the same examination.
“We have our own internal mechanism, as well as a very functional research outfit.
“For every examination, we do a research to find out why candidates perform poorly and if after this, we still have some doubts, we do what is called post item analysis.
“Invariably we find out that our items are not bad.
“The teachers are the ones who set the questions, moderate and mark them; we only collate and release results as adjudged by the experts,’’ the council boss added. (NAN)

BREAKING NEWS: EFCC arrests former PDP acting chairman- Uche Secondus

The immediate past acting Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. A statement by PDP's national legal adviser, Victor Kwon, says Secondus is being accused of illegally receiving a number of buses and demands that the buses be returned. The statement in part reads;

“The oppressive and unfair treatments against its key leaders by the Federal Government. The party alerts the nation that the arrest and detention of its Deputy National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is part of the grand script by the APC-led Federal Government to decimate the opposition,”. The statement alleged that there were plans by EFCC to “arrest and detain the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio and other leaders of the party on imaginary charges. Indeed, intelligence available to the party shows that the Federal Government, using its various agencies, is bent on destroying any opposition to the ruling party as all indications show that the government is more interested in humiliating the PDP than fighting corruption'.

Diezani Alison-Madueke denies awarding $24bn oil swap deal without contract, says she will speak in due time

Former Minister for Petroleum resources, Diezani Alison Madueke has denied an allegation by former group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Austen Oniwon, that she awarded $24 billion oil swap deals without a contract during her tenure as Petroleum Minister. Oniwon made the allegation when he appeared before the House of Representatives ad hoc committee on Petroleum resources.

In a statement released by her spokesperson, Clem Aguiyi today February 24th, Diezani denied the allegation and said she will speak in due time
“Following the recommendation of the then GMD of NNPC, the minister approved OPAs for a new term of 2 years commencing from 1st January 2015. The entities recommended by NNPC were Sahara Energy Resources Ltd, Aiteo Energy and Duke Oil. NNPC strongly recommended and outlined the benefits of the OPA over the SWAPs and put forward the case for migration from the OPA and crude exchange (SWAP) Contracts to OPAs fully. NNPC posited that the ‘experienced benefits of the OPA to the Federation’, would be much greater. There would have been little need to respond to this particular issue at this time considering that the former minister is still indisposed and would have wished to be left alone to recuperate. She will speak for herself in due time. It is nevertheless imperative that records are set straight so that Nigerians and posterity will know the truth. Mr. Oniwon was right when he stated that the 445000 barrels of crude oil were the property of NNPC, bought from the federal government of Nigeria at the prevailing rate and therefore as GMD, he did not need the Federal Executive Councillor Presidential Approval to enter into SWAP arrangements that will enable NNPC fulfill its statutory obligations. It was also correct that contrary to the picture being painted in the media, not more than 210,000 bpd out of the 445000 bpd lifted by NNPC to ensure adequate supply and distribution of petroleum products were traded under the SWAP arrangement. What the GMD required to execute the above was statutory approval from the minister for the companies! Refineries chosen by NNPC to participate in the SWAP arrangement as outlined in section 4 of the Petroleum Act and section 20 of the NNPC Act. It is however incorrect to say that the former minister gave ‘approval for extension’ unless ‘extension’ can legally be substituted for “renewal” because what the Minister gave (and the records are there) was approval for ‘renewal of contract’. And these approvals were given based on letters of request received from the GMD of NNPC.”the statement read
