BSU VC RACE NARROWS DOWN TO THREE CANDIDATES

The race to be the Vice Chancellor of Benue State University, yesterday was narrowed down to three candidates from the initial six.
       

    After a gruelling session, Governing Council of the University elected former minister, Professor Ada from Kwande Local Government (15 votes), Professor Ashiko from Ushongo Local Government (14 votes) and Prof Kembe from Buruku – (10 votes). Professors Varvar, Fiase and Adejo got the least votes and are out of the race.
          It is now left for the visitor of the university, Governor Samuel Ortom, to appoint one among the three candidates as the tenure of the incumbent VC, Prof Mrs Charity Angya ends on 2nd November, 2015.
