Falling way too quickly for a guy before ‘relationship
a good while, you jump at the first opportunity that
comes your way because you’re fighting so hard to get
out of your current situation and aiming for what
almost seemed impossible at a particular time.
You meet a guy, hang out a few times and form such an
uncontrollable deep attraction to him. You adjust to his
personality, flaws and all. You can’t get enough of his voice,
the way he holds you and you’ve even gotten used the style
of his walk.
He immediately becomes your everything and being away
from him makes you feel lost. You then realize…”oh wait,
this guy isn’t even my boyfriend”. You pause; take a second
to think about it and ultimately conclude that you want him
to be a solid part of your life.
Ladies, I’ve been in your shoes and that’s why I advise you to
cool down! Take it easy. If you keep on going at this fast
pace, you’ll find yourself continually getting hurt and upset,
about what could have been but never actually happened.
Here are my top 5 signs to watch out for if this sounds like
something you’ve experienced in the past or are currently
going through.
1. Daydreaming about him becomes a hobby
Whether it be when you’re at work, taking a quick nap or
chilling with friends, you can’t get this guy out of your head.
You’re always thinking about him and envisioning the most
pleasant scenarios between the two of you.
When you finally snap out of your fantasy world, it sucks so
bad that you’re not with him. He seemed so close, yet…you
feel he’s so far away.
2. Waiting on his calls and texts
You’ve personally given him a certain time period to send
you a ‘Good Morning’ text or respond to one of your text
messages. If he goes over the wait limit, you begin to freak
out.
You repeatedly stare at your phone wishing, hoping and
praying that the next notification or call is from him.
Sometimes, you believe you hear a new message alert or get
a call from him on your phone, only to realize that it was
just the sounds you were hearing in your head.
3. Constantly talking about him
Somehow, he is always on your mind and his name remains
on the tip of your tongue. You unconsciously find a way to
bring him up in almost all situations. You’re not even aware
of how bad it has gotten until your friend has to tell you to
snap out of it.
At this point, it’s become heavily annoying to the people
around you, but you just can’t seem to get him off your
mind.
4. You begin talking to your ‘imaginary boyfriend’
This is now a bit crazy, but very true. When you’re bored or
just trying to pass time by, you visualize engaging
conversations/ arguments between you both. As in…no
jokes! It somehow even keeps you sane because it makes
you feel his presence.
It may seem as merely day dreaming to some, but it’s
beyond that. Just remember not to let anyone catch you or
the psychiatric ward may be admitting their next patient.
5. Mood swings
One minute you’re as happy as can be, while the next, your
one depressed cookie. He makes you feel almost dependent
on him without really doing much of anything at all. He’s just
that one guy you potentially see yourself with and you don’t
want that to change.
