International recording artist Seyi Shay has been announced as the headliner for the upcoming Lagos Photo Festival gala night happening at Eko Hotel
on Wednesday. The gala night themed “I No Get Eye For Back” is an intimate evening dedicated to the promotion of photography in Lagos, a live auction of photographs by renowned local and international photographers, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and entertainment.
Proceeds from the live auction will go towards sustaining programmes of Lagos Photo Festival, which include Youth Empowerment through Contemporary Art among other programs. This is not the first time Seyi Shay has shown interest in youth empowerment and she has through her involvement in the Lagos Photo Festival gala night decided to do her own bit and support this program.
Lagos Photo Festival 2015 officially kicked off on October 24 and will run through till November 27. This festival will showcase some of the best local and international photo arts and after months of speculation, Seyi Shay will be unveiling her photo album themed “The Corruption of Eve” .
