There is no doubt that Samsung Galaxy S7 and the iPhone 7 are two of the most anticipated device of 2016. Of course, we already know what to expect based on
various leaks, rumors and speculations. Just last week, Samsung Galaxy S7 passed through Antutu with the codename SM-G930F but unfortunately, Antutu didn’t reveal the score. Only the known specifications were revealed.
Just today, the device was spotted on Geekbench 3 with an impressive multi-core processing score. The version spotted is SM-G930W8 and it’s different from the one on Antutu last week. It’s powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8890 octa-processor clocked 1.59 GHz. There are speculations a version of this device will sport the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which is going to be region-dependent. However, it should be recalled that the variant spotted last week too is powered by Exynos 8890.
The device has a single-core processing score of 1873 while the multi-core processing score hits 5946. The multi-core processing score is quite impressive but Huawei Mate 8 outperforms the Galaxy S7.
Samsung Galaxy packs a 4GB RAM and will run Android Marshmallow out of the box. There’s a 12MP camera at the back and a 5MP front-facing camera. There’s a 3600mAh battery to power the device.
Samsung Galaxy S7 will likely be unveiled in February at Mobile World Congress but there are speculations it’s going to be officially launched in March.
