Perfect Nude Lip Color For Brown Girls

Nude lip color looks great on all skin tones and we just can’t get enough of it. But when it comes to brown skin sometimes finding the right Nude shade could be such a task especially when you are not aware of your skin undertone. We will share with you the easiest ways of identifying the best lipstick for your skin undertone as a guideline.

How to Choose Best Nude Lipstick for Brown Skin

-Determine your skin undertones by observing the color of the veins under your wrist. If green then you are warm skin and if blue then you are cool skin tone complexion.
-Swipe a little lipstick on your wrist and make careful observation. The best nude lipstick for you is one or two shades darker than your skin undertones.
-Crème nude lipsticks are best for the beginners and anyone who is not sure of what to pick.
-For women with darker skin tones, we suggest brands that specialize in cosmetics for women of color because they have more products that compliment brown complexions.
-Stay away from cooler nude colors with grey undertones because they can make you look dull and pale.

5 Quick Makeup tips for the Working Woman

5 Quick Makeup tips for the Working Woman
Working a full time job and having to wake up extra early to face the day’s traffic can be burdensome. However, this article is written to ease the burden of our daily makeup ritual. The very first process to aide this  is having a good skin care routine. Moisturizing and exfoliating your skin cannot be overly stressed. Below are listed makeup tips to note.

Moisturize

Moisturize your face after bathing to ensure your face maintains its softness. The application of sunscreen is essential to block the harmful rays during the day.

Less is More

For ladies with oily faces apply a little foundation same shade as your skin tone, it is advised to apply a matte finish foundation so as to ensure your face does not run (get oily) before the end of the day. For ladies with dry skin however, application of your daily powder does the trick.
The Eyeliner & Mascara
To wake up those eyes apply a little white eyeliner to the inner rim of your eyes; it’s best to use a neutral shade of eyeshadow. Finish off the look with a coat or two of black or clear mascara.

The Lips

Wanna go bold or natural on your lips? If you want a more bold lip it is advised to ease up on the eye makeup, but if you want your lips more natural use a nude lip colour or light pink lipstick shade. With the nude lips you can go all out on your eyes.

Little Blush

Finish off the look by applying a little blush to the hollow of your cheeks. Go with subtle colours that compliment your skin tone.
This may seem like a lot but it takes less than 10-15 mins to accomplish enough time to put on those heels! Now tell us, what other tip do you use to maintain your shine?
Cheers!

How to get Smokey Eyes

How to get Smokey Eyes

What you Need

  • Concealer
  • 2 Shadows: One light, one darker
  • Eyeliner/ Pencil
  • Makeup brushes
  • Mascara
  • False LashesSmokey eyes

The Steps

The first step is to apply a creamy concealer or eye primer onto your eyelid. This keeps eye shadow from fading away or looking messy during the course of the day and allows the eye shadow to stick. After applying it, allow it to dry.
Next, using your eyeliner/pencil draw a line across the upper lash line. Starting from the edge of the eyes close to the nose then the middle which the line should be thicker there then outwards. Also draw a line across the lower lash line. You can also add a bit of eye shadow at the lower lash line to get that smudging look.
Apply a creamy based eye shadow onto the top eyelid. If you don’t have a creamy base, you can also use a very light eye shadow over the entire eyelids.
Take the darkest shade of eye shadow or charcoal and apply over the base eye shadow. Ensure to start from the lash line then blend upwards. Using a blending brush, always blend your shadow upward and outward into the crease of your eyelid and end there. Blend well so that the eye liner disappears.
To get an even more intense look, if you’ve got a darker shade of eye shadow you can apply into the outer corner of the eye and the crease to create a dark smokey eyes and blend all the way!
Next is to highlight your angles by applying a very light or gold eye shadow over your brow bone after the crease.
Finally, if you don’t have natural long lashes then falsies will do. With lash glue you can fix then onto your eyes giving you that ultimate smokey look! If your lashes are long enough, then apply multiple coats of mascara to make it thick and dark.
That’s all it takes to get the smokey eyes. Don’t forget to draw your eyebrows properly because it enhances the structure of your face. So tell me what you think and how it turned out for you!
