On Friday, December 25, the celebrity blogger hosted Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna and wife Sonia, popular On Air Personality (OAP), Denrele Edun, Nollywood actress Adunni Ade amongst other celebrities to a lavish Christmas party in her home.
Aside Nigerian celebrities who were in attendance, Linda Ikeji’s parents alongside her model sister, Laura Ikeji were also present at the private Christmas party.

Jonathan Hits Back At Buhari Over BBC Hausa Comments

Former president Goodluck Jonathan has hit back at President Muhammadu Buhari over comments made by the latter on BBC Hausa.
Jonathan said Buhari, during the interview, lambasted his administration, stating that his (Jonathan’s) efforts were criminal and in nature and treasonable.
Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan is unhappy with President Muhammadu Buhari.

But, in his response through the former minister of national planning, Dr Abubakar Suleiman, who sent a text message to The Punch.
“No responsible government would strategise to loose a war. President Jonathan sworn to defend Nigeria sovereignty and territorial integrity and he did everything possible to achieve that height in the fight against the insurgents.
“It is unfair therefore for Mr President to perceive such efforts by his predecessor as criminal and treasonable.
“The President should, in an attempt to build this country, make such pronouncements that would further unite us as a people than that those that would divide us. Posterity will judge everybody,” he said.Meanwhile, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, a former minister of state for defence, is reportedly on the run following reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) may seek to extend its searchlight on the Ekiti and Osun elections which the he oversaw.

Headies Awards Moved To New Year's Day

The 10th edition of The Headies, hitherto scheduled to hold on Wednesday December 30, 2015 has now been moved by two days.

The organizers announce that the highly anticipated show will now hold on New Year’s Day Friday, January 1, 2016. The 2014 edition was held at the expo centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites.

The postponement adds another opportunity for the organizers to deliver an event many expect to be truly remarkable.
The Headies 2015 is hosted by Kaffy and Bovi, with performances from 2Face, Vector, Falz, Iyanya, Seyi Shay, Adekunle Gold, Olamide, Simi, Victoria Kimani, Eva Alordiah and more.

Nigerian Student killed fellow Nigerian in Cyprus



The story is a bit weird and a little confusing. According to reports from other Nigerian students in Cyrus, Ebinabo Mendeinyo (pictured left) was allegedly stabbed to death by other Nigerians in Cyrus on Dec. 26th at his student apartment. The initial story was that he jumped from the 6th floor of his apartment building out of fear when the boys came to confront him, but the Cyprus police have ruled that out after they found stab wounds on his body.

Jerry Udumioh, aka MC Jerry, a popular comedian and event host (pictured right in handcuffs) was the first person the police arrested in connection with the murder according to a LIB source.

Ebinabo is believed to have been stabbed multiple times by about six boys. They allegedly first drove to his friend's house, kidnapped him and forced him to take them to Ebi's house. They made him knock so that the victim would open the door without suspecting. When Ebi opened they door, he was allegedly stabbed and his throat slit.

The reason for the murder hasn't been made clear but a LIB source said the fight started the previous day at a Christmas party and it was over a Zimbabwean girl and some folks feeling disrespected. Someone got stabbed at the club that night, and the fight was taken to Ebi's house the following day.

Jerry has been charged with 'trespassing', kidnapping and serious assault.
