The new Barclays premier league 
season will begin on August 8th as teams are set to battle for league 
positions in the self proclaimed ‘best league in the world’.

Chelsea were crowned Champions last season.
The
 opening day will not be boring for sure as two of the biggest matches 
to catch the eye will be Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotpur and 
Liverpool vs. Stoke City.
On paper the City/Liverpool match 
doesn’t look big but when you consider Liverpool lost to stoke 6-1 on 
the final day of last season then you see the importance of the match.

Elsewhere
 on Day 1, Arsenal face West Ham United while newly promoted Bournemouth
 face Aston Villa at home. Chelsea begin their title defense against one
 of last season’s most impressive team, Swansea City.
Everton
 will look to put a disappointing 2014/2015 season behind when they 
welcome newly promoted Watford to Goodison park. Leicester City welcome 
Sunderland while Newcastle welcome Southampton.
Newly
 promoted Norwich city face Crystal Palace while West Brom will want to 
begin the season in style but first have to defeat Machester City at 
home.
In other fixtures, Liverpool will face Arsenal and Manchester United within the first five games of the new season.

Liverpool
 will play the biggest derby in England when they visit Old Trafford on 
September 12. United will then travel to Anfield on January 16.

Can United better their fourth place finish of last season?
Chelsea face Manchester City on day 2, West Brom on day 3, Crystal Palace on day 4 and Everton on day 5.
