NFF Says President Buhari Should Be In The Guinness Book Of Records

NFF
The President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has hailed President Buhari and says the President deserves to be in the Guinness Book of Records for supporting the football federation.
Not sure if Mr. Pinnick knows what the Guinness Book of Records is really about, the NFF leader said to journalists after the Golden Eaglets’ World Cup victory,
“Yes, it is a success story as you just mentioned, but it would not have ended that way without the great support that the Nigeria Football Federation continues to receive from the President Buhari-led Federal Government.
In fact, the Nigeria Football Federation is dedicating this triumph to President Buhari. He is a man of history. He was there when the first set won the trophy in 1985 as military Head of State; now he is here as civilian President when the Class of 2015 emerged victorious. Seriously speaking, I don’t think there is any Head of State or Government in the entire universe who has this honour, and for this, our PMB deserves a place in the Guinness Book of Records.”

Pinnick, whose one-year administration has been successful so far insisted on Monday that the masterstroke for the Eaglets’ confident and determined approach was President Buhari’s skype call to the team a day earlier.
The NFF president assured that his administration would be strongly involved in the players’ development, unlike what happened in the past.

Seyi Shay Unveils Stunning Images - The Corruption Of Eve

0C3A7459
Top Nigerian songstress Seyi Shay releases glamorous new photos in a photo editorial called “The Corruption of Eve”. This photo editorial is directed by fast rising photographer Remi Adetiba and was shot at the Lekki conservation Centre, Lagos.
This photo editorial was recently showcased at the 2015 edition of the Lagos Photo Festival among a select iconic photographs that are of symbolic stature in Nigerian music. The Corruption of Eve reconstructs the story of the fall of man in a more modern light with Seyi Shay staring as the first woman “Eve”.  There are four major scenes in this photo editorial; the first depicts Adam and Eve in the innocence of their nakedness. Seyi Shay is dressed in a flowy, ethereal gown, whose nude tone closely matches her skin colour to give a less obvious interpretation of Eve’s nudity.
In the second scene we witness the dramatic emergence of the serpent, played by a striking male model in a full snakeskin suit, seducing Eve and tempting her with the forbidden fruit. The Final Scenes depict our Eve fleeing the garden after succumbing to the serpent’s proposal. Her innocence is lost and she can no longer remain in its purity. She is dressed in gorgeous, dramatically movement-friendly garments with leaf prints/appliques signifying her covering her nakedness. The photo editorial ends with Eve, having fully accepted her fall from grace; she is seen in a luxury car (ostensibly in the present day), wearing a sexy snake-print dress. She and her corrupter are now one.
“The Corruption of Eve” features a slide show that tells a strong story with every photo linking to the next like pieces to a puzzle. The photos in themselves feature strong and engaging visuals that depict Seyi Shay as being on top of the pecking order. As this would relate with her in the entertainment industry, following a succession of hits Seyi Shay was recently signed by international music company Island Records and she has announced she will be releasing her debut album “Seyi or Shay” onNovember 13, 2015.
The story of “The Corruption of Eve” is on display at Miliki Lounge in Victoria Island, Lagos.

NNPC targets $20b income

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has said that the corporation is projecting the inflow of $20 billion investments next year to enable  it fund major projects and improve its revenue.

He described 2016 as a crucial year for the NNPC as it is expected to transit from historic loss environment to profit making domain.

In a presentation to the Petroleum Club, Lagos, at the weekend, titled: “Ongoing reforms in the oil industry: Impact of NNPC reforms on the Nigerian economy”, Kachikwu noted that the country may well be on the verge of a significant oil find in the Lake Chad area in the Northeast, based on analysis of recent seismic 3D data generated from the Chad Basin.

According to him, the corporation is injecting a lot of energy into the effort to ensure success in this regard.
The Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr. Ohi Alegbe , who disclosed this in a statement yesterday, quoted Kachikwu as saying: “There are signs from the latest 3D seismic studies that oil may well be very close to being found now in Lake Chad after very many years of trials. I think that this is very key. It is key both for the geographical balancing of oil production and it is also very key for the purpose of Refinery placement in the North in terms of access to crude. I am optimistic that by the end of the year we should be able to announce something major on this, ’’ the GMD said.

Dr. Kachikwu noted that in driving and developing Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, certain key areas of urgent intervention have been identified thus : running production acreages with transparent and profitable partnerships to bridge capacity and funding gaps; encourage investment inflow into to Nigeria’s oil and gas industry; engagement with local communities and driving regulation to develop the sector income- via encouragement of the fast track PIB to clarify direction and encourage long-term investment in the industry.

In engagement with host communities, Kachikwu said in the years ahead, NNPC, as the senior partner in the various Joint Venture arrangements, must take leadership in fostering a healthy and symbiotic host community engagement outlook, which must focus in what he termed “what the communities want us to do for them and not what we want to do’’.

The target includes: Reduce and audit cost, restructure corporate centre and staffing, renegotiate existing contracts, including PSCs, streamline subsidy management, boost pipeline security, enhance transparency and accountability, achieving zero tolerance for corruption, rebrand NNPC and unbundle PPMC.

With the media always highlighting every single move she makes and the cameras leaving no stone unturned, it is easy to imagine that you know just about enough of the film star… how you are deceived! 2. She was raised by her Mum –
Yvonne’s father abandoned her mum when she was still a child. She was single handedly raised by her mum and she owes her all the gratitude. 3. She started her career in junior school –
Y N as she is popularly known actually won her first beauty pageant when in high school. It had long been coming. She also won “Miss Photogenic” and two other awards. With the exposure from the beauty pageant, she won a two-year contract as face of Maxim Cosmetics, and landed a role in the TV series “Fortune Island”, where her acting career began.
The real fame, according to Yvonne started at Venus Films. Venus Films is a well known production house in West Africa and has worked with quite a few celebrities as well. It is no coincidence then that Yvonne Nelson came out of the production house a more complete article.

Sources indicate that Yvonne desperately wanted to pursue her career to the extent she gave her little born baby to a couple in Botswana. Well, that should point to her going back to school later on.

Yvonne Nelson takes pride in being the first Ghanaian actress to have acted in Ivory Coast when the three nations-Nigeria, Ghana and Ivory Coast- first collaborate. She knows quite a bit about Glaucoma and understands how dangerous the disease could be. She knows that glaucoma is hereditary; that the disease can be linked from grandmother right to the mum and daughter.

8. She Plays Bad Roles
Although Yvonne usually play some nasty roles in movies, she is a far cry from those bad girl roles. Contrary to what we see on screen, Yvonne neither smokes nor drinks.
