4 Best Compliments for Nigerian Women over 30

Let’s face it, Nigerian women love compliments more the men do, and when they are clocking 30 and above, the effect of the passage of time on them becomes more visible. Due to the norm in Nigeria where women over the age of 30 are considered “older women”, the single ones especially tend to feel less attractive and conscious of their looks as they no longer feel the rush of being ‘hot’ singles. The married, on the other hand, also battle with feelings of insecurity and also require a measure of reassurance as regards how they look.
Giving compliments is an easy way to make these breed of women feel better about themselves, especially if they have a particularly endearing quality that ensures their insecurities are not well founded. If you are friends with, dating or married to a woman over 30, Jovago.com, Africa’s No.1 online hotel booking site offers 5 best compliments to pay her. Putting a smile on her face will definitely come back to you in positive ways.

“You Are Gorgeous”
The usually compliment would be telling the woman that she is beautiful, but for a woman over 30, she has probably heard the word “beautiful” so many times in her teens and 20’s, and now considers it random or negligible. She may even see the compliment as something impersonal and take no mind to it. The word gorgeous is definitely a lot more powerful than the word beautiful. Swapping the word for “gorgeous”, however, makes her feel much more unique and elegant. She believes you are not just complimenting her for her looks, but you are also her personality and aura.

“You are so trendy”
Keeping up with the trends and fashion is a struggle for most women over 30 in Nigeria. They are at a point in their life where they start to realize that they are no longer as particular about things as they used to be, and the times are totally different. They start to harbor the secret fear that they are no longer current and they no longer what is in vogue. Some of them actually achieve fashionable looks anyways, while some in their determination to be on par with the recent trends tend to overdo it. While telling them they are trendy or fashionable sounds like the most boring lines ever, it can be extremely effective when you say it the right way. It tells her that her style attracted your attention because the way she dresses reveals her personality and her interest.

“You are so smart”
Nigerian women over 30 like to feel powerful and they like to know that others notice their achievements. Telling her she is smart is a good way to make her feel empowered and most importantly feel good about herself. It reveals to her that there is more to her that people notice and her body or beauty looks may not be a pivotal as she is afraid it might be. Also, in the case of the compliment coming from a boyfriend or husband,  it tells her that you respect and appreciate her for the fact that she is more intelligent than the average girl, so, there is less chance of you cheating on her with the pretty or younger faces.

“I feel like I can talk about everything with you”
This is one of the best compliments to pay a Nigerian woman over 30 as it communicates trust, appreciation and love at the same time. At their stage, they are very curious and tend to need a lot of assurance. They like to know that they are important to you enough that you want to confide in her and share your secrets. It also tells her that you appreciate her for the conversations and you have love the time you spend with her. Basically, it tells her that she’s still got it.

Kingsley Kuku, under EFCC investigation
And on whether he would be arraigned in absentia, he said: “Most likely.”

Kuku had failed on multiple occasions to honor the invitation of the EFCC for questioning on allegations of fraud.

He failed to appear before the commission on July 28, a few weeks after the anti-graft agency invited him for interrogation.

He had given, knee injury, for which he was receiving treatment at St Andrew hospital, Alabama in the United States (US), as the reason for his failure to honour the invitation of the agency.

He also denied claims that he was a fugitive, emphasising that he was a patriotic Nigerian, who would return home to clear his name.

“I am a patriotic Nigerian; I have a future and image to protect. Therefore, my integrity is more important to me than the vanity of this world,” he had said in a statement.

“I have no foreign bank account, I have no house anywhere apart from Nigeria and I have since returned all government property in my possession before leaving.”

Kuku had said through his lawyers that he would “definitely” report to the EFCC latest by 10am on September 30 to face the allegations brought against him.

6 Simple Tips that Make a Huge Difference on your Luxury Leather Shoes

http://image.sportsmansguide.com/adimgs/l/4/421224_ts.jpg
High quality leather shoes are considered as an investment piece because of the price you need to pay in exchange for this luxury set. Getting a pair of leather shoes is like buying a luxury watch or jewelry that needs your extra care and attention in order to make it worth the price up to the last cent.

Because of usual wear and tear, leather shoes become vulnerable of different damages that could be caused by different factors like varying weather conditions, improper storage and unavoidable accidents as you walk down the street.

Just like any piece of luxury kicks, these instances cannot really be prevented and predicted as they come along. But with the help of these simple measures and the right help from one of the trusted shoe renewal shops like Nushoe Inc., it can make you become more aware of the necessary actions to avoid making the damage worst.

  • Water Clog during Winter Season

One of the unfavorable weather conditions for your leather shoes is winter season or sudden rainfall as it cause water to be trapped inside them.  Clogged water can easily penetrate on its sole and external skin which can easily damage it.

If your shoes experienced clogging, it is better to dry them up right away by stuffing in newspaper that will let it absorb the wetness from the inside. Do not dry them up under direct heat because this could cause crack and damage on your shoes and can even loosen its adhesive easily.

  • Avoid Humidity

Another common factor that can make your leather pair vulnerable to damage is humidity. No matter how well you love your luxury shoes and want to keep their pristine condition, it is not a good idea to keep them inside their original box every after use.

Keeping them inside an enclosed area especially for a long period of time can make them prone to humidity which can eventually lead to cracks and even foul smell caused by fungi and bacteria build up.

  • Put them on Cedar Tree Shoes

This is one of the most practical steps that you can do to keep your leather pair at its good shape and condition. Cedar tree is known for its aroma and absorbent material that works against moisture buildup from the inside.

More and more shoe professionals are recommending cedar shoe trees because of its great impact in extending the life of your shoes.

  • Give Your Leather Pair a Chance to Breathe

Everyone of us has its own favorite pair that can just go along with any type of clothing that we wear but this does not mean that even our favorite pairs do not deserve  a break or a chance to breathe away from our feet.

Always give each pair of shoes a day off where you can clean them and dry them up in order to prevent moisture from building up especially on hidden parts of your shoes. Also make sure that before you store your leather kicks, they are properly cleaned and polished in order to make them free from any dirt or dust that can deform or discolor the original appearance of your shoes.

  • Protect from the Top and Bottom

Just like how you take care the top of your leather shoes, you should also do the same on its bottom in order to make them more comfortable and in pristine condition. You can ask a shoe renewal expert to add taps on your shoes. Taps work as the buffer between your heels and the ground. This piece of protection could help minimize the shock and damage that is commonly caused by regular usage.

  • Find a Trusted Shoe Renewal Professional

Damage is unavoidable but it does not mean that you cannot do any remedy or repair. With the delicate materials that your pair of leather shoes have, it is only appropriate to find a reliable shoe repair expert who can handle them should you call for repair or refurbishment.
