Guess who is Cynthia Morgan's Crush???

Nigerian music star, Cynthia Morgan, has again revealed her crush on another fellow entertainer.
The German Juice singer, who recently had the ‘rumor mills spinning’ when she kissed Burna Boy and called him her crush, has disclosed that her current celebrity crush is singer Davido.

A widely circulated post has it that Cynthia said she sees the ‘Gobe’ singer as her crush because he is hard working.

According to the music star, “My celebrity crush? That will be Davido, because for me he is hard working.

“Over the years he has been able to prove himself that he is talented and not all about being a rich kid and I think he is cute too,” she said.

On whether she could date the single father of one, she said: “Cool, but because I am crushing on him doesn’t mean I want to have a relationship with him.

“But if he says, Oh my God! I love you, we can work something out,” Cynthia added.

World’s first 3D blood vessel bio-printer (Made in China)

A Chinese biotechnological company announced on Sunday it has developed the world’s first 3D blood vessel bio-printer, which makes it possible to produce personalized functional organs.
Sichuan Revotek Co., Ltd. based in Chengdu, capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province, said the significant breakthrough has been achieved through its self-developed stem cell bio-ink technology, 3D bio-printer and cloud computing platform.

“The creative breakthrough in the 3D blood vessel bio-printing means we have mastered the stem cell-based 3D bio-printing technology,” said Yang Keng, chairman of Sichuan Languang Development Co., Ltd. Revotek is a subsidiary of Sichuan Languang.

Blood vessels that transport nutrients to organs are indispensable elements when creating any organs, according to James Kang, an expert who led the program.

Kang’s team has created a novel type of bio-ink – “Biosynsphere”, whose primary goal is the personalized stem cell bio-printing to pave the way for organ regeneration.
“We have successfully realized the blood vessel regeneration by relying on the 3D bio-printer, the biosynsphere technology and the data model based on cloud computing,” he said.
The company said it is willing to absorb more talent and seek international cooperation for the application of the achievements.

5 hilarious Facts About Sundays

Sunday is the day for worship for most Christian denominations. It is the holy Sabbath day for worship and rest for most Christians. However, there are some things that aren’t holy about Sundays from a Christian point of view-

1) Sunday is the most popular day for watching porn; This was found out by research on porn done by Online MBA. This is an ironic but not so surprising fact because it reflects the truth of the popular saying that “an idle mind is the devil’s workshop”- a lot of people do not work on Sundays and therefore, will have more idle time then, than compared to other days.

2) The word “Sunday” has pagan origins; Sunday as a word has its origin in Egyptian astrology, in which days were named after planets. It was then imported from Egypt to Rome. However, to be fair, Sunday worship in itself is a very Christian thing- the other major religions worship mostly on Fridays and Saturdays

3) Sports is now competing with worship on Sundays; The modern scheduling of sporting fixtures on Sundays, especially football, has left many Christians in a dilemma go to church or prepare for “Super Sports Sunday”. There are three popular instances that prove that sports is interfering with Sunday worship-
-People wearing jerseys to church and then rushing to watch their team play- even priests
-People giving thanksgivings for their football team winning trophies or cups
-Pastors either making football prophecies (predictions) or praying for their team to win

4) Sunday is the worst day to have an emergency; In Nigeria, many services are shutdown on Sunday afternoons. While the roads might be freer on a Sunday, you will find that
-many ATMs are out of service and so, many queues will be around the ones that work
-there are very few places to buy airtime credit
-there are less policemen and road officials on the road in case of any emergency
-many mechanic workshops are closed
-after 8pm, you will rarely see an open restaurant to buy food from

5) Some other countries actually work full-time on Sundays; For those Christians travelling to Israel, Iran, Bahrain and Bangladesh, your work week starts includes Sunday. This is mostly as a result of Judaism and Islam having differing worshiping times from Christianity.

68 Students Expelled From Kogi State Varsity Over Malpractice

No fewer than 68 students of the Kogi State University, Ayangba, have been expelled for various acts of examination malpractice and poor academic performance, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
This was contained in a statement issued in Lokoja on Sunday by Yakubu Abubakar, the Registrar of the institution, where he informed that 19 of the affected students were expelled for various examination misconduct and 49 others withdrawn for poor academic performance.

The statement revealed further that some students also had their admission withdrawn for not registering within the stipulated period, as well as wrong entry requirements.
While also explaining the take over of Professor Mohammed Abdulkadir as the Vice Chancellor of the institution from Professor Hassan Isah, whose tenure expired recently, the registrar said the affected students cut across all the faculties.
The new vice chancellor, who has since resumed, has promised to run an inclusive and consultative administration as he appealed to stakeholders to join hands with him in moving the school forward.
Meanwhile, there is unrest at the University of Jos (UNIJOS), Plateau state, where the lecturers have embarked on an indefinite strike over unpaid allowances , among other salient issues between academic staff and the institution’s management.

Buhari Makes U-Turn On December Deadline For Boko Haram

President Muhammadu Buhari has made a U-turn on his earlier mandate to the Nigerian armed forces to end Boko Haram menace by December this year.
This was contained in a message conveyed by Babachir Lawal, Secretary to the Government of the Federation during a visit to palaces, hospitals and Government Houses of Borno and Adamawa states, Information Nigeria reports.

The SGF on Saturday, October 24, speaking during the visit said the continuous detonation of Improvised Explosive Devices by the terrorists might result to a longer time in completely eradicating the sect.
“As I said a few times in the past, desperate actions such as the detonation of IEDs will take a longer time to eradicate even as our optimism continues to grow that Boko Haram as a fighting force will be crushed by the year end.
“After that, we hope all displaced communities will be returned to their towns and villages. But even when this is about to happen, there will still remain vital tests and challenges,” he said.
He, however, stressed the administration’s desire to crush the sect by December.
Responding to the president’s assertion, Governors of Borno and Adamawa, Kashim Shettima and Senator Jibrilla Bindow expressed gratitude to Buhari for having them at heart in these tragic moments. They also thanked the president for his commitment towards the eradication of terrorism as well as efforts to secure the nation.
The Federal Government sent a delegation to condole with the people and governments of Borno and Adamawa states following the recent Boko Haram attacks that claimed several lives in the area.

The delegation which was led by the SGF comprised others like; the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Mallam Garba Shehu, Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Mala Mai Buni; a member of the House of Representatives, Mohammed Tahir Munguno; a Permanent Secretary in the Office of the SGF, Bukar Maina; a chieftain of the APC, Alhaji Modi Aliyu Mahmood.

A suicide bomber suspected to be a member of the deadly Boko Haram sect on Friday, October 23 attacked a mosque in Maiduguri , Borno state. The Nigerian army just yesterday, October 24, recorded huge success in its fight against the extremist sect as reports have it that the terrorists were sacked from most of their vital camps.

10 Common Relationship Myths (and Why They're All Wrong)

We enter into relationships with certain beliefs about what good ones are supposed to be like and how we’re supposed to feel when we're in one. These assumptions not only determine our behavior in the relationship; they also form the basis for assessing our relationship satisfaction and our views about the long-term compatibility of our partners.

Since schools do not yet teach Relationships 101 (but they really should), most of us base our assumptions on the relationships we see around us, whether those of our parents or relatives, those of our friends, or what we see depicted in the media. Needless to say, such information can be quite misleading and fail to reflect decades of research about relationship satisfaction and longevity.

Following are 10 common relationship myths, rated for accuracy (or rather, inaccuracy) on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being only mildly inaccurate. (Spoiler alert: There are no 10's.) Feel free to add your own myths in the comments section.

1. If the relationship was "meant to be," it will just work out.

Relationships are like ships: They need to be steered. Sure, you can just let the tide take you to...wherever, but when you crash or sink, don’t conclude the relationship wasn’t "meant to be"—it was your mutual passivity and lack of effort that doomed it.

Accuracy Rating: 2

2. Avoid voicing dissatisfactions early on.

The first stage of a relationship sets future expectations about the roles you each will play, your initiative levels, communication styles, and other relationship dynamics. If your partner is late to most dates, even by a little, and you say nothing, you message that you'll be OK with their lateness going forward. If you’re not okay with lateness, you need to speak up, even on the second date, and even if by voicing just a mild and constructive comment.

Accuracy Rating: 4. (This is usually incorrect but depends on one’s communication skills.)

3. Couples should have sex X times a month/week/day.

One of the most common causes of sexual dissatisfaction for couples is faulty expectations. If you think you should have sex three times a week and you’re having it only once, you might be convinced something is wrong when it probably isn’t. Frequency of sex depends on the sex drive of both partners and, even more, on the actual circumstances and opportunity. If you think you’re not having enough sex, checking with friends to see how often they have it is pointless and misleading. Discuss it with your partner directly.

Accuracy Rating: 5 (There’s a wide variation in sexual frequency even within the happiest of couples.)

4. "He/she knows exactly what they did to upset me."

Although many of us assume our partners should be able to read our minds, science has yet to prove the existence of telepathy even among long-term couples. Yes, your partner can probably tell you are upset but they’ve probably done a thousand things to upset you over the years, so figuring out which of them is the culprit this time is a risky proposition. Don’t stew and wait for them to confess. Just telling them why you’re upset will save you both time and aggravation.

Accuracy Rating: 3

5. Having a baby will solve our problems.

Having a baby is an amazing experience that will change your lives in every way. It is also the most stressful thing you could possibly do to a relationship. If your goal is to be too exhausted to argue, then procreate away. But if you’re already having problems, you should deal with them directly and not expect a baby to make them disappear. Marital satisfaction almost always dips after the birth of a couple’s first child; take that into account when doing family planning.

Accuracy Rating: 3 (At least at first, a baby is going to marginalize the relationship and introduce a lot of added stress.)

6. If you’re truly happy with your partner, you shouldn’t need to be close to anyone else.

This might be true if both of you are massively co-dependent but assuming you’re not, one person asserting this to his or her partner is either an attempt to control that person or just sheer ignorance about our basic psychological need for friendship and community.

Accuracy Rating: 4 (There is a minority of couples who are indeed happy this way, but for most of us it’s totally false.)

7. Couples in good relationships don’t argue.

One of the most consistent and established research findings in all of psychology is that what matters is not if coupes argue but how they argue. Productive arguments are those that avoid escalation and result in resolutions, problem solving, and mutually agreed takeaways for dealing with similar situations more productively in the future. Most couples should learn how to argue productively and practice the relevant skills if they want to change how they deal with conflict.

Accuracy Rating: 5 (Over time, and after years of problem solving, couples in good relationships should argue less.)

8. Never go to bed angry.

Would it be better to resolve conflicts before turning in? Yes. Is it realistic to expect to be able to do so when it’s already past midnight and you have to be up with the kids and/or for work the next morning and also function at your job? No. What you can do is agree never to go to bed without at least deciding when to continue the discussion or argument. In addition, some people actually need to cool down before they can continue a productive discussion, so taking a break could be wise. (See Why Some Couples Should Argue Via Email.)

Accuracy Rating: 4

9. You should learn to love your partner’s worst qualities.

If you read an article I wrote about marital pet peeves (50 Most Common Marital Pet Peeves) you’ll realize that some people have habits that are slightly disgusting and impossible to "love." Fortunately, loving your partner’s poor qualities and habits is not necessary. Instead, simply accept them and learn how to shrug them off and minimize their importance.

Accuracy Rating: 4 (You can love some of their bad habits—but not all of them.)

10. Good relationships don’t require work.

This is my favorite, because it’s the most common myth and the most inaccurate. Of course relationships take work—and lots of it. You’re merging your own life, needs, wants, desires, dreams, and hopes, all of which shift and change over time and in response to various circumstances, with those of another person whose separate needs, wants, desires, and dreams also shift and change. How else is such a complicated endeavor possibly supposed to succeed unless you both work at it? How much work it actually takes might ebb and flow, but expect to invest attention and work even in the best of times.

Accuracy Rating: 1 (This is simply never true.)

I am not shy around women – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has debunked a claim that he is shy dealing with the opposite sex. The president, in a statement yesterday by his spokesman Femi Adesina, was reacting to a media report that quoted one Gideon Samani as claiming that he (Buhari) was shy around women.
Describing the claim as totally fallacious, Adesina stressed that the said Samani was falsely described as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters. He said the subsequent attribution of the supposedly low number of female ministerial nominees to Buhari’s alleged shyness around women was baseless and a figment of the imagination of the said Samani.
The presidential spokesman said Buhari received with shock and consternation, the assertion by the alleged presidential aide that he (the president) “is very shy dealing with the opposite sex because he has been interacting mostly with men.”
“For one thing, there is no Senior Special Assistant, Political Matters, in the office of the President for now and Mr. Samani who was said to have spoken as the representative of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation at a public function yesterday, is not an aide of the president. Mr. Samani is certainly not an official spokesman of the president. Therefore, he could not have spoken on behalf of President Buhari who is the president of all Nigerians, men and women alike,” the statement said.
Ad esina said Nigerian women could be assured that the president holds them in the highest esteem and would always give them due consideration in the discharge of his official responsibilities. According to him, “President Buhari has a wife, many daughters and female relatives whom he loves dearly. He also had a mother that he adored. How then could he be shy in the company of women, to the point of allegedly not appointing them into public offices, on account of not being comfortable in their company?”

Don’t waste your time competing with us, P-Square tells other artistes

For the naysayers out there who believe that there is a sharp division in the P-Square family, this is for you.

The talented brothers re-united on the set of the hottest reality show in the country at the moment, Glo Dance With Peter, where Paul served as a guest judge.

No sooner had Paul sat on the Judges’ corner, than he said, ‘I’m proud of this dude (Peter). When he brought up this idea of Dance With Peter, I doubted initially, but he stuck to his guns, and look at where we are now.’
On what is responsible for their success over the years, Paul said, ‘God made it possible. There’s also this thing about P-Square; we take our career serious. It started as fun, but it became business, and later, it became about the fans. Yes, we’re super stars, but you’re not a super star without super fans. We don’t have any competition; we only compete with ourselves. If you’re competing with P-Square, you’re wasting your time.’

It should be recalled that Peter had also recently stated that the next phase for the brothers would be ‘Sing With Paul.’
